Content
Each issue will be themed. We set themes by the art, life, and lusts that have gripped our own minds and given our tongues friction burns. Good, bad, or morose, we want to have themes to cultivate inventive responses to further inspire others in their own work.

We have no genre expectations, just send us something that is utterly you – from beauty to beast, creative non-fiction to allegorical fairy tales – we just want to revel in the potency of your voice. We’re trying to do things differently; we’d appreciate it if you did too.

If your work is ekphrastic, please be aware of the rights the work you’re referencing may have. We take plagiarism very seriously. We love homage, pastiche, satire, and the odd Big Lebowski quote, but be mindful of how you utilise these writing tools. The Dude abides by copyright laws.

We appreciate diverse writing, including scathing satire, but have no tolerance for hate, bigotry, and discrimination.
We accept work from everyone, whatever age you are, wherever in the world you live, or
however you identify – we just care that you have an identity.

Formatting
If you’re a mad scientist who loves to experiment, please send in your findings! We don’t have a preference for presentation, font, or style, as long as it will fit in the magazine. But remember, we have to be able to read your work to accept it, so do bear this in mind as you format.
Send your work with a short biography (up to 100 words) and relevant social links.

In the subject line of your email, please format as follows:
[poetry/prose/visual] [title of your piece(s)] [your name]

Work submitted outside the submission window be will automatically declined.

We aim to get back to every submission within two months from the deadline. We’re a small team and appreciate your patience. This is a complicated business…you know…a lot of ins, a lot of outs, a lot of what-have-yous…
